All sales from TTR Fundraising Editions support the production of our quarterly publication.

The Third Rail is a nonprofit quarterly publication devoted to a discussion of modern and contemporary art, philosophy, and culture, featuring critical essays and reviews, interviews, literary arts, and artist center spread projects.

One of the things that makes The Third Rail special and worth supporting is that it is produced with care as a substantial, print-based publication featuring work by local, national, and internationally recognized contributors, and readers can have it for free! Our contributors include some of the most exciting artists, poets, critics, historians, musicians, filmmakers, chefs, choreographers, and curators working today, and you can find The Third Rail at some of the best independent bookshops, contemporary art galleries, and museums internationally. As we conclude our first year, The Third Rail is now being collected and archived by numerous museum and institutional libraries, including Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam), Getty Research Institute and LACMA (Los Angeles), Midway Contemporary Art, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and Walker Art Center (Minneapolis), Anthology Film Archives (New York), Bilbiothèque Centre Pompidou (Paris), and Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden (Washington, D.C.), among others.
